Cookies, Web Beacons, and Other Tracking Technologies
We may also collect personal information and non-personal information from users via “cookies” (small text files placed by us on user computers), single-pixel GIF image files (also called “Web beacons”), Web server log analysis and other similar technologies. We and our advertising and analytics partners use these technologies (collectively, “Tracking Technologies”), some of which may function as “pen registers” or “trap and trace devices” as those terms are used in California Penal Code section 638.50 and analogous other laws, to collect the information described above and to transmit it to the partners identified in the “Advertising and Analytics Partners” section. We obtain your opt-in consent through our consent tool before deploying any Tracking Technology that is not strictly necessary, and we do not transmit your information to those partners until you consent. Strictly necessary technologies—such as those used for site security, fraud prevention, load balancing, and to remember your consent choices—operate without consent as permitted by law. You may withdraw your consent at any time through “Your Privacy Choices.” Such information may be used to track usage trends and enhance the user experience, and may be shared with third parties. To the extent third parties may place advertising on the Site, such third parties may utilize cookies or other tracking technologies. We use cookies pixels, SDKs, session-replay tools, and chat widgets for analytics, security, personalization, and advertising. Such information may be used to track usage trends and enhance the user experience, and may be shared with third parties. Where required, we honor browser-based opt-out mechanism. Please click Please click here for more information and to opt out. You can also manage preference via the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link.
Some analytics and chat tools may capture interaction details (e.g., keystrokes, clicks, chat content) to diagnose and improve support. We contractually restrict vendors to service-provider users. We require prior notice/consent here applicable (see “Live Communication” and “Your Privacy Rights”.
Our advertising and analytics partners process the information they receive for the purposes and on the terms described in the “Advertising and Analytics Partners” section and in their own privacy notices, to which we link. We are not responsible for the independent privacy practices of other websites to which the Site may link.
To the extent third parties may place advertising on the Site, such third parties may utilize cookies or other tracking technologies. We are not responsible for information collected by third parties in this manner, nor for the collection or use of information by other sites to which the Site is linked.
We do not currently respond to Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals or other similar signals. DNT is a feature that, when enabled, sends a signal to websites to request that your browsing not be tracked.
User Information
We primarily use personal information for our business purposes, namely, to provide and improve our products, services, Site and Apps. Part of this includes compliance with applicable laws, such as responding to legal requests, enforcing this Privacy Policy and our rights, and protecting others and our Service. We may also use information for short-term, transient use for an interaction with you and to personalize your experience and communications. We may use information for debugging for functionality, auditing interactions, and internal research. We also use information as instructed by you and with your consent.
We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose personal information and non-personal information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties when compelled by law or court order to do so or if, in our discretion, we believe it is necessary or appropriate in order to respond to legal requests (including court orders and subpoenas), to protect the safety, property or rights of Company or of any third party, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, or to comply with the law.
In addition, we collect information for commercial purposes, meaning to market our goods and services. For example, we collect device and other data to better target advertisements and other content in an effort to create a more personally relevant experience.
We may use automated systems to route support requests, detect fraud, personalize content, and measure ad performance. Where required, you can opt out of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, and you may have ADMT-rights under US consumer privacy laws, including but not limited to California regulations. See “Your Privacy Rights”.
We retain personal information for the length of time necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a different retention period is requested by you or required or permitted by law. For example, we will retain your personal information for as long as it is needed to provide you with the Service or fulfill a legal or contractual obligation. We may also aggregate, deidentify, or anonymize personal information as applicable for use in analytics, such as to analyze trends over periods of time without specifically identifying you.
We use the following criteria to determine how long we retain personal information: (a) our relationship with you, such as if there is an open contract or account or a pending transaction or request; (b) legal obligations to retain personal information for certain purposes, such as to maintain transaction records; and (c) other obligations or considerations relating to the retention of data, such as contract requirements, litigation holds, investigations, or statutes of limitation.
Sharing Information; Your Consent to Sharing
We may share your personal information and non-personal information with third parties for the purpose of allowing them to provide information about products and services that we think will be of interest to you.
By providing personal information on or through the Site, Apps, or in connection with services provided by the Company thereon or in connection therewith, you agree:
- • all information you have provided is true and correct to the best of your knowledge;
- • you are establishing a business relationship with Company; and
- • you are requesting and expressly consenting to be contacted via telephone, email, sms / text message, and/or mail by us and our partners and affiliates, regardless of whether your telephone number is on any Do Not Call list(s)
From time to time, we may establish a business relationship with other businesses whom we believe trustworthy and who have confirmed that their privacy practices are consistent with ours ("Service Providers") under written contracts. For example, we may contract with Service Providers to provide certain services, such as hosting and maintenance, customer relationship management, data storage and management, direct marketing campaigns, analytics, live chat/audio and speech-to-text. We provide our Service Providers with only the information necessary for them to perform these services on our behalf. Each Service Provider must agree to use reasonable security procedures and practices, appropriate to the nature of the information involved, in order to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
Sharing with our Advertising and Analytics PartnersWe may work with third-party marketing and advertising companies ("Ad Networks", also
referred to in this Policy as our “Advertising and Analytics Partners”). These companies may
collect and use information about your use of the Site or services to provide advertisements
about goods and services that may be of interest to you. Advertisements may be shown via the
Site, the services, or third-party sites. These companies may place or recognize a unique cookie
on your computer or use other technologies such as Web beacons. Our Advertising and
Analytics Partners include, by category: (i) analytics and site-performance providers, including
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (which provides heatmaps and session-replay analytics
that record interactions such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and form-field
engagement); (ii) advertising, conversion-measurement, and remarketing partners, including
Google (Google Ads, including its Enhanced Conversions feature), Microsoft Advertising (Bing),
Meta Platforms, TikTok, Amazon Advertising, and AdRoll; (iii) marketing-attribution, lead-
measurement, and customer-relationship providers, including HubSpot, Hyros, and call- and
conversion-attribution vendors; (iv) television, connected-television, and streaming (CTV/OTT)
advertising-measurement partners; and (v) ad-fraud-prevention providers. A complete and
current list of the specific partners, the categories of information shared with each, and links to
their privacy notices is maintained in our consent tool and available through “Your Privacy
Choices.” When you submit a form on the Site, such as our online quote form, the information
you provide, which may include your name, email address, telephone number, and ZIP code,
may be shared in hashed or otherwise pseudonymized form with certain of these partners to
measure and attribute advertising conversions, unless you decline the advertising category of
Tracking Technologies or opt out as described below. Where permitted, we enable these
partners’ restricted or limited data-use settings (for example, Meta Limited Data Use and
Google Restricted Data Processing) and engage them as service providers or contractors under
the CCPA; where a partner instead uses your information for cross-context behavioral
advertising as a third party, you may opt out of that sharing through “Your Privacy Choices” or
by transmitting a Global Privacy Control signal).
In this context, we may also “sell” or “share” (as those terms are defined under California and state consumer privacy laws) certain online identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you opt out via the “Do Not Share My Personal Information” link. These companies may collect and use information about your use of the Site, Apps or services in order to provide advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you. Advertisements may be shown via the Site, Apps, the services, or third-party sites or sent via direct mail. These companies may place or recognize a unique cookie on your computer or use other technologies such as Web beacons. We do not sell or share audio recordings or transcripts of audio recordings with any Ad Networks. Marketing calls or texts are only sent in compliance with the TCPA. Our Privacy Policy does not cover any use of information that an Ad Network may collect from you. It also does not cover any information that you may choose to provide to an Ad Network or to an advertiser whose goods or services are advertised through the Site. For more information about ad cookies, and to "opt-out" of the collection of information by some companies that allow you to do so, please click here.
We may share personal information and non-personal information with businesses controlling, controlled by, or under common control with, Company. If Company is merged, acquired, or sold, or in the event of a transfer of some or all of our assets, we may disclose or transfer personal information and non-personal information in connection with such transaction.

Safeguarding Your Information
We endeavor to take reasonable steps to safeguard and protect our users' information. We utilize electronic and physical security to reduce the risk of improper access to or manipulation of the information you submit during transmission and storage, but cannot and do not guarantee the security or integrity of the information. We shall have no liability for breaches of security or integrity or third-party interception in transit. Please be advised that any transmission of data at or through the Site is at your own risk.
External Links
The Site may contain links to other sites, or allow others to send you such links. A link to a third party's site does not mean that we endorse it or that we are affiliated with it. We do not exercise control over third-party sites. You access such third-party sites or content at your own risk. You should always read the privacy policy of a third-party site before providing any information to the site.
Live Communications
Our Service includes live chat and may include live audio. We provide layered disclosures and obtain the level of consent required by federal and state law before monitoring, recording, transcribing, or sharing these communications with service providers.
- • What we collect. If you use chat or audio, we process your messages, recordings, transcripts (including AI speech-to-text), metadata (timestamps, IP/device), and support notes.
- • Why we collect it. Customer support quality, compliance, training, fraud/security, and (if you agree) analytics and model improvement.
- • Who receives it. Only our personnel and contacted service providers (e.g., chat platform, call recoding, speech-to-text/AI transcription). We prohibit them from using this data for their own marketing or “selling” it.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning
We may use AI algorithms and machine learning technology to process your data in order to deliver our Service.
- • What we do. We use AI/ML for speech-to-text, natural language analytics on chats/transcripts, fraud/security, personalization, and support agent assistance.
- • Your controls. Where required by law, you can opt out of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects (e.g., eligibility decisions).
- • Training and model improvements. We do not use audio/chats to train generalized models unless (i) we de-identify the data; or (ii) we obtain your consent where required (e.g., if training involves voiceprints or other biometric identifiers). If you prefer not to have your de-identified chats used for model improvement, you may opt out via your AI/Model Use Preferences within the app and disable to setting that allows data to be used for training or by click here.
- • Biometrics. If we ever create or store voiceprints (biometric identifiers) from your audio, or enable voice authentication, we will first provide the notices and obtain the consent required by appliable biometric laws and follow statutory retention and deletion schedules.
Your Privacy Rights Choices; Opt-Out and Opt- Out Preference Signals
You can review and change your choices about non-essential Tracking Technologies at any time, including granular opt-in and opt-out by category, through our “Your Privacy Choices” cookie- preferences tool, which is accessible from the footer of every page. We also honor opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC). When we detect a GPC signal sent from your browser or device, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information associated with that browser or device, as required by California law. You may also exercise the following choices: You may opt out from having information about you shared with third parties (other than when required by law or court order or to process transactions to which you have consented), or from receiving future offers in connection with the Site, by following the instructions contained within each marketing communication or by emailing us at the address provided in the “Contact Us” section.
We value consumer privacy rights and strive to provide flexibility with how your personal data is used and shared. Consumers may make a verifiable request twice within in a 12-month period.
There may be situations where we cannot grant your request; for example, if you make a request and we cannot verify your identity, or if you request deletion of data that we have a legal obligation to keep. Where we deny your request in whole or in part, we will take steps to inform you of the denial and provide an explanation of our actions and the reasons for the denial.
Access. You can access and obtain your data and ask us for certain information, including: the categories of personal information collected and used; the categories of the sources of data; the business or commercial purposes for collecting, selling, or sharing data; the categories of third parties to whom data is disclosed; and the specific pieces of personal information collected. We will respond within 60 days with reasons and state-Attorney General contact information as required by law.
Other Laws. Several states have enacted privacy laws that may apply to you, depending on the circumstances. For example, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), updated by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), governs certain California-related conduct. Further, if you are a California resident under the age of 18, California Business & Professions Code Section 22581 permits you to request and obtain removal of content you have publicly posted. Please note that such a request does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of public content. If certain other privacy laws apply to you that provide you with additional rights, please contact us to make a request, either click here or contact us at 1-800-587-4162, as we strive to comply with all privacy rights.
